Wash the Dishes to Wash the Dishes
Good Morning Minds,
I thought I knew what "living in the present meant" until I head this from Thich Nhat Hanh.
Wash the dishes to wash the dishes.
Not to get to the next task.
This simple statement revealed how often my body is in one place while my mind races ahead. By fully engaging in each task—feeling the warmth of the water, the texture of the dishes—I discovered a profound sense of peace and clarity.
What everyday activity could you transform by being fully present?
See you tomorrow
James
